Creating organic designs for inspired living in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Palm Beach, Tequesta, Boca Raton and beyond. Celeste has a special formula that is tried and true that makes the process as streamlined and simple as possible with accurate timelines and agreed expenses. Whitney Bloom started her career in sales and broadcast news, though she had studied at the New York School of Interior Design. After a decade long sales career, she found herself drawn to interior design in powerful ways. Eventually, she moved down the Eastern seaboard and pursued her dream of creating beautiful spaces in Palm Beach, Florida. Designing the interior of a yacht requires a mix of having an eye for design and understanding what makes the vessel different than a residential building. We use UV-rated, water-resistant performance fabrics in conjunction with style-driven, comfortable furnishings for designs that stand the test of time. When GW Interiors was hired to design the interior of the Redemption, we chose a bright orange and electric blue color palette to give new life to the décor.

Her modern, clean and surprisingly classic aesthetic has earned her a reputation as Palm Beach County’s go-to interior designer. Her ability to seamlessly marry her background in music business with her passion for design allows her to bring a fresh and innovative perspective to every project she undertakes. Palm Beach exudes a relaxed and prestigious ambience, providing unparalleled quality of life in a beautiful coastal setting.

She's also been featured on The Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible and DIY's The Vanilla Ice Project for nine seasons. We use your style tastes to draw inspiration from the space to create a superb design that will highlight your senses. Celeste has graduate degrees from Harvard University and has authoredtraining manuals and consulted for Fortune 500 companies on quality control, client relations, and elegant yet functional meeting space. The drama-mystery is centered around the disappearance of a family matriarch, portrayed by Annette Benning, shortly after she and her husband sell the longtime family business, a tennis coaching center. Personal ephemera, particularly trophies and tennis trinkets, also played a role in decorating the primary family home at the heart of “Apples Never Fall,” a mystery-drama series on Peacock. Although author Liane Moriarty set her novel in Australia, the story was recast in West Palm Beach for its screen adaptation.

The CIGA Design Blue Planet Is The GPHG's First Chinese Winner

ciga design blue planet

The aluminum globe itself is domed, its continents are in a silver tone with realistic topographic details, and its oceans are in a tastefully deep matte blue. We tested the first Chinese timepiece to win a prestigious Swiss award. CIGA Design notes environmentally friendly packaging on its website.

CIGA Design Blue Planet Hands On Review

The screw-down crown offers affords 30m of water resistance while offering superb grip and maintaining the smoothness of the case. The case is offered in stainless steel and titanium, which offers a warmer tone; both feature the same satin brushing and the steel is just 23g heavier than the titanium. The dial of the CIGA Design Blue Planet offers a display that is as artful as it is unique. Calling into question conventional time displays, the dial consists of a beautiful micro-engraved sculpture of the earth. The blue ocean features an almost lustrous hue, while the shining metallic landforms are instantly recognizable, with the Himalayas rising up off the disc. Just off the coast of Madagascar, a compass rose acts as the hour hand on the rotating Earth.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

ciga design blue planet

Not content simply calling it a day after creating a gorgeous dial with a novel time display, CIGA Design utilized a rarely seen case design as well. It’s a design that completes the watch’s cohesive look and contributed to the Blue Planet receiving 17 international design awards. Eschewing the traditional rounded case and protuberant lugs of most watch designs, the Blue Planet features an organic, sleek case that calls to mind the smoothness of a river stone. The 15mm-thick profile is maintained by a perfectly curved domed sapphire crystal, which adds subtle reflection and protects the dial, just like the Earth’s atmosphere. The quick-release fluorine rubber strap makes the case’s 46mmx46mm dimensions wear shockingly well, while the lugless design furthers the comfort by creating a much shorter effective lug-to-lug.

The Battle for the World’s Thinnest Watches (incl. Video)

An automatic caliber unique to CIGA Design fully rotates the globe on the watch once every 12 hours, so that the compass points to the correct hour on the outermost ring. This is the minute ring, and its rotation has been engineered so that the point on the globe always points to the correct minute. This setup causes the experience of initially setting the watch to be mildly disorienting in the best way. Once the Blue Planet is wound and set though, the slowness of their rotation subdues the eccentricity. "When I first started out, I looked back at 200 years of watch history and asked myself, 'Is there anything that has never been invented?'" Zhang says. Joseph B. Powell, Ph.D., is the Principal of ChemePD, an advisory firm that works with the energy, chemicals and process development industries.

U-Series Blue Planet GPHG Mechanical Watch - blue strap

Let’s start with the case, because it sets the stage for how well the rest of the watch comes together. Measuring 46mm x 15mm in Titanium, the case itself is an almost UFO-esque shape. It’s a perfect circle, which would normally make the measurements a bit daunting but it truly wears differently than any “oversized” watch I’ve ever worn.

It’s not very practical for telling time

Early in his career, he held various sales and sales management positions at VLSI and Advanced Micro Devices. Further, the watch comes fitted with a single-link ceramic strap. It’s incredibly comfortable, although I might have liked just a little more texture on the bracelet over it’s more glossy appearance. Since it’s ceramic, the single-link makes sense to keep the cost down and provide some extra value, and there isn’t anything wrong with it. It’s lovely, and the added value of having a ceramic bracelet is undeniable, but I found myself wearing the rubber strap more often.

He has spent most of his 30+ year career in the development and scale-up of technologies that leverage new processes and materials. Gottfried was CEO of Gottfried Institute, Regenerative Ventures and its RegenNetwork for 25 years. Before that he served as a real estate developer and contractor, including Senior Vice President of Thomas Properties Group and Managing Director of its Green Building Fund.

The back has a few more actual pages detailing the specifications and operating instructions for the watch. Overall, the experience of receiving the watch in this context only added to the “story” that CIGA Design is trying to tell with the Blue Planet. And so, since 2012, CIGA Design has slowly been warming a growing audience to more and more outlandish designs, subtly introducing concepts—even with the packaging—that sow the seeds of something bigger.

At US$1,099 in titanium, the money not put towards environmental or humanitarian causes seems to directly translate into a good deal for the consumer. I would’ve loved it if the globe rotated once every 24 hours as well. The rotation would not be accurate to Earth’s actual movement with the vantage point chosen for the Blue Planet, but it would’ve taken the metaphor and the mechanics just that one step further. The matching titanium buckle on the strap is stamped with the CIGA Design wordmark. At first, the one closest to the buckle seemed to be fixed until I realized it was held in place with small raised notches on the strap.

The decorations are basic but pleasing, and the view on them is somewhat obstructed by printing on the transparent insert in the case back that celebrates the win of the Blue Planet at the GPHG. Running at 4Hz/28,800 VpH and offering a 40-hour power reserve, it is on par with the Swiss competition. The numbers in terms of accuracy that CIGA Design does communicate is between -20/+40 seconds per day. Most likely, its actual performance is in a much narrower range, as the motions of your wrist also affect this. Due to the way that the Blue Planet – Gilding Edition tells time, and the fact that it lacks a seconds hand, make it unlikely that you notice a significant deviation in time.

This allows for both keepers to float freely if one wishes, another unique design consideration. And that’s exactly the point of the watch, a message that speaks in shapes and colours instead of words. Like a note written on the back of your hand to remind you to take the rubbish out, the CIGA Design sits on your wrist and reminds you to put the banana peel in the organic waste and not the general. It may be a small reminder for a small action, but that’s usually the way big things start. Zhang wanted to create a product where the design was directly connected to a person's individuality and sense of self. After a few years of experimentation, he started working on watches, and in 2012, he established CIGA (an acronym for China International Great Art) Design.

This, along with the Ciga Blue Planet’s simply striking design and execution, makes it a watch worth taking note of — and a conversation piece should you pick one up. While I wouldn’t wear it every day, it’s certainly an object I can appreciate —and even wear from time to time. It’s a conversation topic for that reason (and those mentioned above), but for my tastes, it felt a bit over-the-top at times.

He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and a PhD from the University of California at Santa Barbara. As usual, securing the clasp with one hand requires both coordination and practice, best performed over a bed or other soft surface. Speaking of durability, it’s water resistant to 30mm/3 ATM, suitable for incidental water exposure (e.g., washing hands or light rain). Those of us living in the Western Hemisphere are not accustomed to the view, especially when it’s upside down or sideways (the globe rotates). Call me continental plate-centric, but looking at that part of the world doesn’t do it for me, regardless of its orientation.

That would be a problem cause locale not working. Antd will have a strict discussion on the demand for new components to prevent API corruption and become historical debt. And it is also more inclined to provide atomic capabilities for APIs so that developers can customize the features they need more flexibly.

Many people in the US have been shown to develop allergies to these highly venomous ants. Their venom is typically used to paralyze prey. In rare cases, people bitten by these ants can even go into anaphylaxis. The species is known for eating dead animals, as well as dead insects. These ants have been shown to eat dead insects during the night.

⌨️ Development

Attracted to sweet food, these ants are constantly looking for fruits, especially fallen on the ground even if decaying. They use trails or pathways to get out of the nest and move towards food. But ants leave the pathways starting to look for food on their own constantly. While not specifically dangerous, these ants are known for above-average aggression. They are particularly aggressive to other colonies of Veromessor andrei.

Worker ants also go out during the day being attracted by dead animals. The decaying liver has been used as bait for the species. These ants live in large colonies, albeit smaller colonies compared to other more common California ants. The species (Tapinoma sessile) is known for nesting on all types of grounds. They prefer to nest in the ground but they are also often found in open soil, woods, or under large objects. Living in large colonies, the ants are sometimes subject to a single leading queen and other times subject to multiple colony queens.

antd design

The ants are known to live in very large colonies preying on raisin moth larvae. This type of ant (Prenolepis imparis) is common in coastal states such as California. These are considered invading ants as they’re often found in California homes. Multiple queens characterized Argentine ant’s colonies. This means killing a single queen rarely has the desired effect when trying to eliminate Argentine ants from California homes.

Another distinguishing characteristic of a Hanok is the extensive use of hanji, which is a paper produced from mulberry tree bark and is used to cover every solid surface. As a result of its outstanding shielding ability and permeability, hanji has been used to cover doors, allowing in natural light while still keeping the space warm. Intake vents in hanji’s walls allow airflow throughout the house without opening any doors. Some of the best memories revolve around good food and family – that's why we welcome all of your loved ones, including children. KOREA HOUSE RESTAURANT SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Costello said that NIAC is still hoping that the Senate will not approve the bill when it comes to its consideration. Still, the implications of it coming under consideration, alongside Trump’s promises to revive his “Muslim ban” policy, bode poorly for the future of U.S.–Iran relations. This week, a delegation from North Korea traveled to Iran, with reported hopes of breaking North Korea’s total diplomatic isolation as conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine forge new geopolitics. Some dual-nationals have been arrested in Iran in the past amid tensions between the two countries. But when the lieutenant returned to his base on Saturday night, he got the news that he and millions of Ukrainians had been praying to hear. The main event for every state visit is the dinner, the most coveted diplomatic honor – and one reserved for the U.S.'s closest allies.

It’s a neighborhood literally on the rise with construction cranes crowding the landscape. There are fewer mom-and-pop restaurants—some, victims of the pandemic—and more millennial-owned cafés. The environment-friendly aspects of traditional Korean houses range from the structure's inner layout to the building materials which were used.

Korean Beer 16.9 oz

There are two storeys of this Korean house design, and it is built to complement its location between the metropolitan area and the highlands. A variety of materials, such as cement, stones, brickwork, and timber, are used to create a unique look. Although wood has a smooth feel and clear lines, it is evocative of city living, whereas brick has a coarse texture and irregular patterns that are reminiscent of country homes.

We are doing our best to preserve traditional Korean food with its distinctive flavors. Elevated flats, single-family homes, and terraced houses are the three major kinds of housing in Korea. Apartment complexes are typically five to twenty storeys high, but certain locales allow for much higher construction. Darkened rooftop houses in Korea with elevated mesh gables provide a relaxing outdoor space for the family that lives there, as well as a place to conduct casual business meetings. Decorative gables constructed of white corrugated metal and transparent PVC panels adorn the top of the three-storey structure.

Korean BBQ

Hanok is a symbol of the ideal connection between humanity and nature. The Koreahouse restaurant is the first Korean restaurant in the state of Florida, providing traditional and authentic Korean cuisine near Orlando since 1982. One of the wines being poured at the Wednesday dinner has a diplomatic pedigree. The menu also pairs a Ferdinand “Vista Luna Vineyard” albariño from 2020 with the first course and a Januik “Red Mountain” merlot from 2020 with the main.

K-BBQ on Tabletop Grill

Young children from the Korean-American Children’s Choir in New Jersey performed a traditional South Korean song. A fife and drum corps decked out in long red coats and white pants paraded in front of the stage. A military band played “Hail to the Chief” as the Bidens walked out of the White House and stood on a red carpet. A few seconds later, a black SUV carrying the guests of honor pulled up the White House driveway.

Like Hanok roofs, these free-form overhangs harmonise with the landscape by gently caressing the hilly regions. The structure is rather broad and continuous in design, with a handful of rooms that stretch out to the northern and southern sides of the main corridor. Chamfered concrete walls encircle this South Korean family house, creating a dramatic interplay of shadows in the process.

In that paper, hanok was used in reference to the specific area along Jeong-dong road from Donuimun to Baejae school. At that time, instead of using hanok, terms like jooga (meaning living houses) and jaetaek (meaning a variety of houses) were more widely used. The word hanok was only used in special circumstances when the latest house was built somewhere. After the devastation of the Korean War there was a need for cheap, suitable housing for people displaced by the war. During the period immediately after the war, several hanok of historical value were demolished. In the larger cities of South Korea, only small clusters of hanok remain.

18 decks, 20,000 plants, 9,000 passengers: Inside the worlds largest cruise ship National

what is the 14 largest cruise ship in the world

The cruise line is positioning the vessel as “the ultimate family vacation,” as CEO Michael Bayley told reporters earlier this year, per CNN’s Maureen O’Hare. Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas can hold the most passengers, with a maximum occupancy of 6,988. If all the amazing food on board inspires you, be sure to check out Toscana‘s Food LAB, where guests can learn to prepare their own culinary creations alongside the ship’s chefs.

MSC Grandiosa, MSC Cruises

This means that the cruise line takes over responsibility for the giant ship, and the vessel officially becomes a part of the fleet. It now means that Icon of the Seas is the world’s largest cruise ship, overtaking Wonder of the Seas, which is also operated by the same cruise line. Carnival Cruise Line’s newest ship Carnival Celebration launched in 2022 as the second member of the Excel class, joining her sister Mardi Gras. The new ship almost made the top 10 of the largest cruise ships, landing at number 11.

Symphony of the Seas (Royal Caribbean)

At 235,600 gross tons, there’s room for 7,084 passengers and an amazing amount to see and do onboard. This includes Central Park, the mid-ship outdoor promenade that winds through lush gardens, and the AquaTheater, where performers put on aquatic shows, including towering high dives at sea. Today, any new ship from a major line will be at least 140,000 gross tons, with many much larger than that.

Cruise Hive looks at the top ten biggest cruise ships in the world by gross tons. As of February 2024[update], there are 68 passenger ships with over 135,000 GT in service. The first ships over that size were the Voyager-class ships from Royal Caribbean Group's Royal Caribbean International (RCI). On Jan. 27, the world’s largest cruise ship, Icon of the Seas, set sail on its inaugural cruise. With the capacity to carry nearly 8,000 people, the 20-deck, 1,198-foot-long vessel is the size of a small city. There are eight “neighborhoods” packed with amenities that include a 55-foot waterfall, six water slides and more than 40 restaurants, bars and entertainment venues.

decks, 20,000 plants, 9,000 passengers: Inside the world’s largest cruise ship

Inspired by the Scottish island of Iona, the gin contains 18 botanicals. Guests can attend two unique gin masterclasses on board, including one that allows you to craft your own gin with expert guidance. Foodie guests on MSC Seascape will enjoy the ship’s eleven restaurants, including a massive Market Place Buffet and several specialty dining venues grouped together at Chef’s Court. Wonder of the Seas® brings even bigger adventures to the award-winning Oasis Class. A totally redesigned pool deck with more ways to soak up the sun —or shade —than ever before. The most immersive AquaTheater ever, with a game-changing surround-stage that makes you feel part of the action.

But don’t worry, the ship’s 13 other bars and lounges are staffed by friendly humans. After you’ve worked up an appetite in the pool, try one of Harmony of the Seas‘ twenty restaurants, serving over 200 different dishes on a daily basis. The Tidal Rum has partnered with P&O to produce the unique rum blend on the ship at Anderson’s Bar.

what is the 14 largest cruise ship in the world

The new-class Icon of the Seas is an impressive 250,800 gross tons and can hold 5,610 passengers at double occupancy. The giant ship that Meyer Turku built in Finland can also hold 2,350 crew members. To help you compare the sizes, we've rounded up and ranked the 30 largest cruise ships in the world by gross tonnage (which is a measure of volume, not weight). We've included other stats, such as passenger capacity (both double occupancy and max occupancy) plus length and beam (the width at the widest point of the vessel). But the largest cruise ships on the planet are in another league altogether.

Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas

Icon of the Seas recently surpassed Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas as the largest cruise ship in the world. Star of the Seas will join the fleet in 2025 as the second Icon Class ship, as well as a third unnamed ship in 2026. In April 2022, I cruised on board Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas. At the time, it was the largest cruise ship in the world, but the title has since been replaced by Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas.

MSC Seascape

Royal Caribbean says the Icon of the Seas is 24% more energy efficient than required by the International Maritime Organization for modern ships. Earlier this week, the ICCT released a report arguing that methane emissions from LNG-fuelled ships were higher than current regulations assumed. Millions are following the journey through the eyes of the passengers, as they live and post their lives aboard a vessel they’ll be on for nearly a year. If it sounds like a reality show, that’s exactly what some watchers have turned it into.

The world's largest cruise ship has set sail from Miami, Florida, on its maiden voyage, but there are concerns about the vessel's methane emissions. And in times of need - there are 18 lifeboats, each with a capacity of 370 people. Harmony of the Seas overtakes its older Oasis-class ships just slightly, making her the fourth-largest cruise ship in the world. The vessel is the first of two new orders from STX France to expand the large class ships to four.

These are sisterships from the fleet of the second-largest cruise shipping company in the world - RCCL-Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (as shipowner) that follows only Carnival Corporation (as shipowner). Italian line Costa Cruises’ newest ship, Costa Toscana, comes in at the eighth-largest cruise ship in the world. The Tuscan-inspired vessel features furnishings, fabrics, and accessories all made in Italy.

Water parks, huge entertainment spaces, dizzying restaurant options, and a wider variety of cabins are all part of how the largest cruise ships are filling all that space. MSC World Europa is the second largest cruise ship powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and takes the cruise line into a new era of sustainability, which it’s taking very seriously. The 7th world’s biggest cruise ship features more than 30 different dining venues and a new thrilling 250-foot Drop slide located aft of the ship. Besides taking on the mantle of largest cruise ship in the world, Icon of the Seas is yet another game changer for Royal Caribbean.

Everything About Riding the Ferry from Nassau to Paradise Island Atlantis

cruise to atlantis bahamas

The Bahamas has an island for every taste and style, and it's easy to enjoy its subtropical charm during an overnight stint or a week-long cruise. To access Paradise Island by water, hop aboard a 15-minute ferry ride from Nassau to Paradise Island. On your boat ride to Paradise Island, a guide will also give you a brief history lesson of the island and its many attractions. Once you've arrived on Paradise Island, it's a 10-minute walk from the ferry dock to Marina Village in Atlantis. The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island is an entire tropical world unto itself.

Spring Bahamas Cruises

From relaxation to adventure, experience cruises to the Bahamas that have more range with Princess. On a Bahamas cruise, visit the dazzling port of Princess Cays, Princess’ Private Island Resort. Relax in a beachside sanctuary bungalow, ride on a banana boat or paddle through the turquoise waters on a kayak with friends and family. Experience this quintessential Bahamas port on most of our Caribbean cruise itineraries, and indulge in the best of both worlds as you sail on to explore other nearby destinations.

Save Big With These Bahamas Cruise Deals

Apart from that, there are some lagoons where you can self-explore some rare marine species. Visiting Marine Exhibits is one of the best things to do at Atlantis Bahamas. There are over 250 marine species underwater; you can see all this through 100-foot-long underwater tunnels. The Royal Atlantis is the most expensive; if you’re an affluent personality and can afford $1000 to $2000 per night, go for the Royal Atlantis.

Day Passes

If you decide to rent a car, note that there is limited free parking available on Paradise Island (and limited spots are found near the public beach). The best alternative is to valet your vehicle at the cost of $16.75 per day. Whether you're driving or opting for a taxi, be prepared to pay the northbound one-way $1 bridge toll.

The island has some of the closest and most beautiful beaches to the cruise ships. Cabbage Beach is a popular destination thanks to its powdery, white sand and electric blue water. Also on the island are a number of beach clubs, restaurants, a golf course, and more. Caribbean Getaways offer short cruises to the Bahamas for a dose of relaxation on a quick weekend trip or a mid-week recharge. From kayaks and paddleboards to noodles and floats, frolic through the water and refuel with a complimentary beach barbecue.

This vibrant destination is home to Princess Cays, our private island resort that is truly relaxation defined. Spend the day relaxing beachside or snorkeling just off the shore. Find cruises to the Bahamas that fit just about any schedule with options of a short getaway or a week long Caribbean vacation with the family. Sightseeing, swimming and soaking up the island flavor — it's all yours for the taking on a Carnival cruise to Nassau, Bahamas. Boasting balmy breezes and jumping to a bouncy calypso beat, Nassau promises sizzling fun in the sun.

To ensure that you get back well before the last ship departs. Truth be told the tour is pretty interesting the first time you hear it, but you’ll hear the same one if you head back on the ferry to the cruise ship. Don’t expect luxury or a speed boat when you buy your ticket. The ferry boats are older and just cruise along; this isn’t a thrill ride. Spice up your holiday season on a Bahamas cruise and immerse yourself in the best of each destination with our exclusive Local Connections Program.

Sample Blue Curacao on a distillery tour, snorkel alongside friendly stingrays in Antigua or discover St. Lucia’s Creole traditions from a master craftsman. In Bimini, you could relax on a pristine beach in an exclusive resort and swim in the warm, crystal-clear water. If you prefer a more active day, you could hand-feed wild stingrays, swim among reef sharks, or snorkel over the wreck of the Sapona, now colonized by tropical fish. Throughout the ship, casual resort wear, sundresses, shorts, polos, or button-downs are appropriate, paired with sandals, low heels, and loafers.

Cruise with Celebrity to The Bahamas  and you’ll come back completely revived. A respite for sun and sand seekers, the Bahamas is home to light blue beaches, translucent underwater caves, a rich royal heritage and exclusive private isles. These can all be found throughout a beautifully scattered string of 700 islands (most of which are uninhabited). Cruise to the Bahamas to take a dive and witness a majestic coral garden at Orange Bowl reef, hang out at ultra-luxurious resorts like Atlantis, and shop resort fashion in Paradise Island or Nassau.

Then embark on a leisurely glass-bottom boat ride around the island, or unwind in a private bungalow and enjoy access to Princess MedallionNet® right from your beach chair. There's a beach with your name on it once you plan a Bahamas cruise vacation. Slip away for a 3-, 4- or 5-day cruise from Miami or Tampa, or cruise from Orlando (Port Canaveral) if you're in need of a quick getaway.

We were fortunate enough to go on another cruise that stopped in the Bahamas on our recent trip, and one thing I overheard was that there isn’t a whole lot to do in Nassau for kids. I might have agreed with that sentiment prior to this trip, but one surefire thing to do that kids will enjoy is visiting Atlantis. To book your Golf Gateway package, you need a 5-night minimum stay at Atlantis. Cruisers don’t have enough time, so they can skip this activity. Among all the great pools, the Cove Pool, Mayan Temple Pool, and Cascades Pool are my favorites.

Both cost about the same, but in our opinion the ferry is the more memorable experience. Hashtag your cruise photos #carnival and #nassau — you may see them right here. Our new Aqua Dining Plan is the perfect way to get maximum value while exploring our vast array of restaurant options during your stay. The daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening. If you do not wish to participate in Evening Chic, Smart Casual attire is acceptable for dining and attending the theater. Each itinerary features one to two more “formal” nights that we call Evening Chic.

I think the favorite activity among our family was definitely the Rapids River. It had a mix of calm, slow moving water and spots where you would go down rapids. The rapids weren’t too much for anyone in our group, and I would think that ages 8 and up would be great at a minimum. We also enjoyed the water slides but didn’t make it to the most challenging ones. There was also an awesome water slide among the Mayan slides that ended by going past a bunch of sea life through a clear tube. The water park itself is large so finding our way around was a slight learning curve.

The historic and cultural heart of The Bahamas is one of the world’s most popular cruise destinations — one million travelers board cruises to Nassau every year. Carnival guests come for fine beaches, shopping, water sports, and fun-filled attractions at the Atlantis Resort, connected to Nassau by a bridge to Paradise Island. Throw in a chance to swim with dolphins, or do a little slipping and sliding at a water park, and it's clear what makes Nassau a top spot for cruisers of all ages. Getting there from the cruise port is pretty straightforward. There are a number of taxis waiting just outside of the gate after you leave the port.

Learn about Nassau’s history, and sample conch fritters, the local specialty. If you’re traveling with kids, you could spend a day exploring Aquaventure waterpark at Atlantis Paradise Island and its waterslides, pools, river rapids, and vast aquarium. Take a fun, inexpensive and informative 15-minute ferry boat ride right next to the cruise ship dock. Most people just want to see what’s inside Atlantis Resort without using the hotel’s beaches and other attractions. Float through crystal-clear waters and sunbathe on palm tree-lined beaches during a Bahamas cruise with Princess®.

He will point out the sights along the ride, including the “Michael Jackson” suite at Atlantis that costs $25,000 a night… with a four-night minimum stay. Whether you’re a history-lover, adventure-seeker or laid-back traveler, discover the best Caribbean cruise destinations for any guest with Princess. Make a splash with more than 20 swimming areas, 14 distinctly unique pools, and 6 inviting beaches over 5 miles long. Explore the soft white sand of Cove Beach, Royal Beach, Paradise Lagoon, or Atlantis Beach, and the azure waters of Paradise. On Celebrity’s ships, you can enjoy a different restaurant for every meal, with menus designed by a Michelin-starred chef.

How to Score the Best All-Inclusive Cruise Deals

all inclusive cruise carnival

Celebrity Cruises would not provide an average, but in all the fares we priced out, passengers could expect to pay $70 per person, per day, above the base cruise fare. However, it's possible the difference in pricing can be higher on certain cruises. While you'll pay a lot more for a suite than for a standard cabin on a cruise ship, it might be worth it if you seek an inclusive and upscale cruise experience.

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours

If you love a port-intensive cruise on a smaller, upscale ship, Azamara might be the cruise line for you. Luxury cruise line Crystal re-launched in 2023, bringing back an all-inclusive onboard experience on two vessels, the 606-passenger Crystal Symphony and 740-passenger Crystal Serenity. Seabourn has created a Mindful Living Program in collaboration with Dr. Andrew Weil, an esteemed pioneer in integrative medicine. The line offers complimentary classes with Dr. Weil-trained practitioners in guided meditation, as well as free Pure-Form yoga and Pilates group workouts.

THINKING ABOUT THE CARIBBEAN?

Plus, you can order as many courses as you want in the Main Dining Room and you won’t pay any extra, as long as you avoid the Steakhouse Selections. You can eat for no extra charge in the Main Dining Room and the Lido buffet, while some of the speciality restaurants have free options for breakfast and lunch. But it is possible to have a great holiday without spending a lot more than your original cruise fare. And just like how entertainment and dining venues vary, not all onboard activities can be found on every ship in the Carnival fleet. Our expert team is dedicated to helping you plan the ultimate cruise vacation, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey.

All-Inclusive Cruise Deal Busters and a Couple of Boosters: Airfare, Transfers and Overnight Stays

You typically get the same inclusions regardless of cruise line, unless you go ultra-luxury. But if you want to keep costs down, staying on the ship is a great way to do so – you’ll often be able to enjoy a much less crowded atmosphere while everyone is off exploring too. You’re more than welcome to just step off the ship and explore on your own, but bear in mind that a lot of ports aren’t actually close to the cities you’re visiting.

Learn About Credit Cards

But their cruise fare can be a bit confusing, especially for first-timers. Evenings on a Carnival ship comes with lots of possibilities without having to venture very far. Choose from a variety of restaurants for dinner, have a cocktail at the pub or piano bar, try your luck at the casino, enjoy a dive-in movie, head to the comedy club, party by the pool, or dance till you drop at the night club. ● On itineraries where excursions are expensive or the only way you can adequately explore the ports, you may save money with an all-inclusive cruise.

The complimentary alternative dining inclusions are mighty fine, too. Little feels better than sitting down to an incredible meal in Manfredi's Italian restaurant and not signing a room charge at the end. Pastas are excellent, but by all means, order the signature bistecca alla Fiorentina, a Florentine-style porcini-and-spice-crusted ribeye steak that makes meat lovers swoon. Perhaps what passengers rave about the most is complimentary access to the Nordic Spa and that awesome thermal suite mentioned above.

If you want to splurge on a spa treatment, consider booking it during a port day, as cruise lines often offer discounts. If you plan to imbibe alcoholic beverages, you have two options. You can either pay per drink during your cruise (as you would at a typical restaurant or bar) or buy a drinks package upfront.

What is included in cruise fares?

There are cruises as brief as two days and some as long as 31 days, depending on where you’re headed. With plenty of routes from the U.S. and international destinations, countless member benefits and a wide selection of cabins to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect cruise for you. The additional cost is $49 per person, per day, for adults and $29 for children; solo adult travelers pay $42 per person. Windstar Cruises' hallmark is casual luxury, so the line lets guests choose how inclusive they want their fares to be. Virgin Voyages' goal is to reimagine the cruise experience, which means that it doesn't follow the typical rules of cruising. You'll find tattoo parlors, drag shows, balcony hammocks and a novel approach to fare inclusions.

Unwind in women's and men's saunas, steam rooms and relaxation lounges, and soak away your cares in three plunge pools. You'll only pay for one-on-one fitness sessions and spa treatments. Most exploration toys, such as Zodiacs, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, are complimentary.

● Maximums on the per-drink cost or limits on specific brands can trip you up and add to your bill when you least expect it. When in doubt, ask the bartender if the drink you want is part of your package. For cruises that last 15 days or less, neither pre-cruise COVID testing nor vaccinations are required for children or adults cruising with Carnival. For example, an off-season cruise to the Bahamas in February might cost $189 while the same cruise in June could be $684 for the same cabin on the same ship.

Scenic Eclipse even carries e-bikes, an inflatable trampoline and water skis. Up to 15 onboard expedition experts (20 in polar regions) lead complimentary adventure and enrichment programs on and off the ship. Generously sized, all-suite accommodations feature spacious verandas. The multimillion-dollar art collection (think Picasso and Chagall) onboard the newest ships Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Grandeur astonishes; you will sail amid multiple museum-quality pieces. All-inclusive cruising sounds alluring — until you realize that this phrase can mean different things to different cruise lines.

all inclusive cruise carnival

Cruising has become less of an all-inclusive vacation over the years, with cruise companies selling lots of add-ons to increase onboard spending. However, there are still a lot of things included with your cruise fare. Most passengers are content with the food in the Lido Restaurant and Main Dining Room. The offerings are varied and plentiful, so guests will never tire of the food. This enables guests not to have to pay an additional fee for dining if they choose not to. Our cruises travel to some of the world’s most beautiful destinations.

Plus if there are any delays to your flights or transfers, the ship may not wait for you. Sometimes cruise lines will wait for guests who have booked flights as part of a package with the line. Even if you are not a big alcohol drinker, you'll have to pay extra for drinks like soda, bottled water, specialty coffees and teas, and mocktails. While most shore excursions cost extra, you can enjoy the island's beaches for free, as well as lounge on a complimentary chair and take in the stunning ocean views.

With few exceptions, Carnival sails exclusively from North American homeports and offers some of the lowest pricing in the industry, particularly on short three- and four-night Carnival Caribbean cruises. While cabins vary in size and accouterments, you'll find that most ships offer — from least expensive to priciest — inside rooms, ocean views (with a window), cabins with private balconies and suites. Generally speaking, older mass-market ships have fewer balcony cabins and suites than newer megaships. She has worked in the cruise industry since 2015 and has taken over 30 cruises.

When you book with one of our partners, please be sure to check their site for a full disclosure of all applicable fees as required by the U.S. Many lines offer different types of all-inclusive packages you can purchase when you book your cruise. These packages are designed to provide a hassle-free cruise experience by allowing passengers to pay for one or more of their onboard expenses — such as beverages, Wi-Fi and gratuities — up front and possibly at a discount. Guests booking a cruise so have the option to purchase extra add ons, which can often be cheaper online before the voyage.

Some of the countries visited on this itinerary may require travelers to provide proof of vaccination against certain diseases in order to enter the country. These requirements are subject to frequent change as outbreaks occur and subside in different areas, and it is therefore crucial that you obtain the very latest information on entry requirements as you prepare for your journey. Besides complying with the Tauck restriction noted above, you should also be sure to research and comply with all airline baggage restrictions relating to your flights to and from your Tauck journey. Airlines have become much more strict in enforcing size and weight limits in recent years, and luggage exceeding airline standards for size or weight may result in expensive overage fees or other consequences. Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed bookings.

Also, be certain to ask your physician for proof of any vaccinations you receive, and to pack this proof along with your other travel documents in your carry-on luggage (not in your checked luggage). For your day-to-day travel while on tour, we recommend that you limit your hand luggage to a small, soft-sided carry-on piece, and that you bring only those items you need handy during the day such as make-up, medications, cameras, film, etc. Items too large to fit under the motor coach seat or on the overhead rack must be stored in the luggage bays beneath the motor coach, and may be inaccessible during daytime travel. Although oversize bags and wheeled, carry-on luggage are popular for airline travel, they are often not convenient or appropriate for motor coach travel.

Please select your stateroom or suite type and room category from the available options. The Mediterranean and Aegean coasts of Greece and Turkey enjoy long hot dry summers and mild winters. Summer temperatures in Greece and Turkey are tempered by the Etesian northerly wind which blows across the Aegean Sea, and breezes called "meltemia", however, mainland temperatures are often very high. Winters are mild and wet, although rainfall is generally low in most areas. If you have a medical condition that might limit your participation in activities, please consult your physician for pre-departure health advice and notify us as soon as possible, if you have not already done so.

About Azamara

Visit the archaeological site of Akrotiri to learn about the Minoans, who were driven from the island in 1600 B.C. Shop for jewelry inspired by designs from ancient Greece in pretty Fira, the whitewashed capital, and join a tour to Oia, on the northern tip, where you can dine on organic mezze and island wines with sweeping views across the caldera. The cruise line also offers a seven-day trip to Greece and Turkey as well as a 21-day transatlantic cruise that includes the Greek isles.

The restaurants, hotels, caterers and numerous other partners we work with all do their best to accommodate special dietary requests from Tauck guests. However, given the diverse nature of those food providers (from small wineries to grand hotels to world-famous restaurants in more than 70 countries worldwide), some of our partners are better able than others to accommodate such requests. We therefore cannot guarantee that all dietary requests can be accommodated at every meal. Also, please note that where dietary requests can be accommodated, choices will frequently be limited. However, if you take special medications, please bring an adequate supply with you; they may not be available onboard. Medical services and all medicines (except acetaminophen, aspirin and anti-nausea pills) dispensed to you by the ship's doctor will be charged to your shipboard account.

From the treasures on land to the jewels within museums, the Mediterranean is a true work of art. On an Italian cruise, see portraits from the Renaissance period at the Uffizi Museum in Florence, and admire Michelangelo’s masterpieces at the Vatican Museum in Rome. Or walk in the footsteps of celebrated artists that called these regions home — like Picasso and Dali — and allow their work to spark your creativity. Rooted in Greek mythology, Athens is alive with stories from civilizations of the past.

This security measure also ensures that only Tauck guests are permitted onboard. Admire Santorini’s sugar-cube houses and blue-domed churches scattered across the dramatic cliffs of an ancient caldera. Explore the bougainvillea-filled alleys and chic boutiques of Mykonos Town before heading to the beach. In Rhodes, you’ll see magnificent mansions built by the medieval Knights of St. John, while Kusadasi, in Turkey, is the gateway to the antiquities of Ephesus, as well as a great place for shopping in the bazaar. Istanbul, meanwhile, is rich in treasures, from elaborate mosques to the lavish Topkapi Palace, as well as a culinary scene that invites exploration. Seabourn’s Adriatic & Greek Glories cruise is about the same length, and features a full day in Nafplio, a scenic port crowned by a Venetian fortress.

Menu selections include whole Dover sole meunière with shaved pink Himalayan sea salt, oysters on the half shell, fruits de mer, and salt-crust baked branzino, as well as favorites such as steak frites, duck cassoulet and coq au vin. Bringing the right clothing for your trip is important – we've partnered with Necessary Gear who provide an "easy-to-use, one-stop shop" for your Tauck travel needs, specifically selected for this trip. Smoking is not permitted on the motor coaches or inside the ship, including inside staterooms. Smoking is only permitted on the outer decks in the designated smoking areas.

You will need to speak to our Travel Experts to book multiple staterooms. Kusadasi is your port to the age-old civilization of Ephesus, once the second largest metropolitan area in the Roman Empire, and famed for the Temple of Artemis, one of the wonders of the ancient world. Istanbul is exotic, warmly welcoming and unique – after all, where else can you tour Europe and Asia on the very same afternoon? – with must sees that include Hagia Sophia, Topkapi and the Grand Bazaar. Book Shore Excursions by signing in and managing your cruise reservation.

Options — including walking food tours and pottery-making demos at a local factory — abound, depending on the particular port of call. The line has taken the industry by storm, doing away with cliche cruise staples like main dining rooms, large buffets, and notoriously small staterooms. This 10-day cruise aboard the Celebrity Equinox includes the Greek ports of Athens, Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini and the Turkish city of Ephesus.

With the latter, you can team up with your friends and family to play giant versions of Connect 4 Basketball or Simon Flash in front of a live audience. Carnival also uses its big theaters for lots of interactive shows that involve you, the passenger, getting a little silly. They include Lip Sync Battle Carnival — a shipboard adaptation of the Paramount Network TV series — and Hasbro, the Game Show. Every Carnival ship has one big theater where you'll often find flashy, fast-paced production shows that string together a medley of loosely related tunes. Designed to be quick and digestible, they typically last around 30 minutes and have relatively small casts (just eight on some ships).

That said, given the complexity of booking a cruise — there are a lot of decisions to make during the booking process; trust us — we recommend you use a seasoned travel agent who specializes in cruises. One or two nights a cruise, there will be a more formal "cruise elegant" night where men are expected to turn out in dress slacks and a dress shirt, preferably with a sports coat, or even in a suit. The suggested attire for women on such nights is cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses. All vessels operate on a "cashless system," with any onboard purchases you make posting automatically to your onboard account.

Day 2, 3 & 4: Fun Day at Sea

Near the ship's tween and teen clubrooms, it has two padded trampoline areas where you can jump around and take part in games like jousting on a balance beam or shooting baskets while bouncing. There's even trampoline dodgeball and, at one end of the room, a climbing wall augmented with interactive game elements. Passengers can learn to cook everything from Carnival's classic warm chocolate melting cake to its popular saffron risotto during one- to two-hour classes that cost $30 to $59 per person. Other popular venues found on some Carnival ships include RedFrog Pub, which serves up Carnival's tasty housemade beers on tap, as well as plenty of other choices.

Day Cruises

In 2001, Carnival transferred their first new build, the 1982 built Tropicale to Costa Cruises. Through the rest of the decade, the line would continue to sell, or transfer the other 1980s built ships to other lines, with the Jubilee in 2004, Celebration in 2008, and Holiday in 2009. In 2001, the new Panamax size Spirit class debuted with the Carnival Spirit, the first of the four-ship class within the Carnival fleet.

Special programs allow kids to see their favorite Dr. Seuss characters at sea, and adults can enjoy the enticing Alchemy Bar for one-of-a-kind cocktails. Head to the main theater for enchanting live performances and shows every night, enjoy tacos and burgers on the pool decks, or find a lounge chair around the pool and soak up the sun. Carnival Splendor sails the Southern Hemisphere around Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific on cruises that range from two to 10 days. The ship has Carnival’s only quick-service Indian restaurant and boasts a pool with a retractable roof, so you can swim without worrying about the weather. Carnival Dream is known for exciting entertainment and food and beverage offerings, including Alchemy Bar, a vintage-themed cocktail "pharmacy." The ship sails from Galveston, Texas, on six to nine-day cruises.

Night Exotic Eastern Caribbean Cruise

Drinks brought on board must be carried in your carry-on luggage. Carnival allows you to bring one bottle of wine or Champagne per person onto ships at boarding plus up to a dozen standard cans or cartons of nonalcoholic drinks such as sodas. The social and value plans cost $18 and $23 per day, respectively, when bought onboard a ship.

Cruises

It's a place to get together to talk, watch movies, play video games and take part in other activities. It's a fun-at-sea focus that has gone to new levels over the past two years with the debut of Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration, each of which has — get this — a roller coaster on the top deck. At 800 feet in length, these aren't the biggest roller coasters ever. However, they're real ones — the first ever on a cruise ship. On the vast majority of Carnival ships, there's not just a single waterslide but a whole water park area.

Carnival is the only cruise line to keg and can its own beer. BlueIguana is a Chipotle-style restaurant, with yummy made-to-order burritos and tacos. Created in partnership with Food Network's Guy Fieri, Guy's Burger Joint offers burgers that beat anything you'll find around the pool on other mass-market ships and even most luxury vessels. Note that Carnival's two oldest ships — those that are part of the 1990s-built Fantasy Class — have relatively few balcony cabins by today's standards.

Most nights, the dress code on a Carnival Cruises remains much the same, minus the swimwear, though technically the cruise line asks that people not wear shorts into the main dining room. All Carnival cruises go to great spots — what sets each ship apart is how it gets you there. Every one of our ships features its own unique twist on Carnival-style fun. Online Check-inU.S Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires Carnival Cruise Line to submit a final departure manifest with specific guest information at least 60 minutes prior to departure. All guests are required to provide us with check-in information by completing their Online Check-in and selecting their Arrival Appointment no later than midnight (eastern time) prior to their sailing date. It’s not all action, though, because relaxation options like Cloud 9 Spa™ and Serenity Adult-Only Retreat™ are on the menu.

Carnival specializes in fun, laid-back, family-friendly cruises. With few exceptions, Carnival sails exclusively from North American homeports and offers some of the lowest pricing in the industry, particularly on short three- and four-night Carnival Caribbean cruises. Carnival Conquest takes cruisers to the Bahamas and the Caribbean on two to 10-day sailings.

In short, there's a ton to do up top on Carnival vessels — and it's almost all available to every passenger on board the vessels at no extra charge (the roller coaster is the only exception). On one of Carnival's newest ships, Carnival Panorama, there's no RedFrog Pub, but the Smokehouse Brewhouse has a stage that's home to live music nightly and some of the ship's karaoke sessions. Every Carnival ship has a casino, usually smack in the middle of the main entertainment deck. In addition, every ship has at least one — and usually several — extra-charge eateries.

There's now at least one waterslide on all but one ship in the Carnival fleet (Carnival Luminosa) — something no other line can say. Also, there are always several music venues where you'll find live performers in the afternoons and evenings, including — on some ships — the Atrium Bar and a secondary hub area called Ocean Plaza. There's almost always a piano bar that's home to lively singalongs. When it comes to raucous, though, nothing on Carnival ships quite compares to the frequent karaoke nights on board.

Carnival is also well known for the Punchliner Comedy Clubs on its ships, which draw quality comedians and can get a little raucous late at night with adult-only performances. In general, the production shows aren't nearly as sophisticated — or as long — as what you'll find on Royal Caribbean or Norwegian ships. Every vessel has two main dining rooms and a casual buffet eatery where meals are included in the fare.

For cruises from international ports, you'll need a passport. Note that it is important that the name on your reservation be exactly as it is stated on your passport or other official proof of nationality. All this said, we recommend checking Carnival's website before sailing for the very latest on requirements. Carnival also offers dedicated tween and teen programs on ships for children aged 12 to 17. The younger children in this age range (12-14) are grouped into what's known as Circle C and have their own dedicated lounge on ships.

Start by exploring the incredible ports we visit… and the fun things to do, both on the ship and ashore. Another ship, Carnival Glory, went on an over two-week-long hiatus to upgrade several spots on the ship, the news release said. A new bar and lounge dedicated to Army veterans and active duty military and a photography studio are some of the latest additions.
